It also seems that Phil Spencer and others at Xbox might have indeed been disturbed by reports coming out of Activision, but not too disturbed or disgusted to still see an opportunity to buy up the company.
Basically, I blame the people who pushed this out the door to hit a release schedule a lot more than I blame the people who worked through a pandemic to actually make it.
