It's a cool idea but it just means the actual head unit is buried somewhere in the dash (oh am I in trouble for saying that now?) and aftermarket replacements are now going to require dismantling that entire area.

You just know Z06/ZR1 replacements will trickle out over the next 2-3 years. They had to make the base model, which is the overwhelming bulk of sales, feel special.

He's definitely an enthusiast, a huge media figure (I bet his "Q" rating is off the charts), and he's non-controversial and affable. (His external image and presentation, not talking about the douchier professional moments such as what he's done professionally to Conan O'Brien, David Letterman, Helen Kushnik, et al).

Meh, Cameron's not truly innovating anymore.... I think the last truly innovative thing he did was Strange Days. Heck even T2 was the same plot from the original Terminator with a big budget.

The BBC is one of those rare public institutions that would flourish as a private enterprise. Excellence in the public sector is rare, but the BBC has it in spades.

I only found this out a few years ago, but Brent Spiner has been running around for years doing his Patrick Stewart impersonation — on other TV shows such as American Dad and others. Probably him on the car rental commercial too. In fact it's so pervasive that he does a better Patrick Stewart than Patrick Stewart.
