Begrudgingly, as part of that ‘Brooklyn demographic’ being touted as her audience, I understand why Gretchen was Nina’s choice. On the other hand, I love-love-love that Tim Gunn broke character and said “Shame on you for letting Gretchen bully you!” during one of the team challenges that season.

The show (or rather, Heidi) ultimately did well by Mondo. She wore one of his designs that season on a red carpet and they practically fashioned the next All-Stars round as a victory lap for him to claim a prize (much as Top Chef did for Richard Blais—but he choked in the finale, it wasn’t squirrely judging).

I’m really thinking this is best case scenario! Tim seemed to be tiring of the job and, frankly, starting to phone it in. Heidi has questionable taste level and would ram her favorite contestants through. I am excited for PR again!

This show is the only reason I’m sad not to have live tv/cable. Sigh.

I have never been a faux fur person (or real fur, except on snugly creatures), but out of a moment of madness, I ordered a snow leopard faux fur throw, by Christian Siriano from Macy’s and it is so lovely. It will make for some super cozy couch time this winter.

I’m here for Nina, she’s the only one whose opinion I totally respected, and maybe Zac Posen but also because he was deliciously bitchy. Siriano’s ok but I don’t love him as a designer and he’s not very charismatic. Karlie Kloss is such a non-entity to me, does she even have a personality?

But Christian, I love you so I’m in again. 

Dammit, Siriano is the ONE person (well, and Santino) who could convince me to give this reboot a shot.

Yup, I couldn’t imagine a show without Tim and Heidi, but Christian Siriano is an excellent choice.  Don’t know enough about Karlie Kloss as a personality to judge that call yet.
