I struggle with mental health issues. I hate the fact that no one commented on what Kanye West said during his interview but instead chose to blame him for his mental illness. And to second guess what Kanye should have done to control his illness and what his course of treatment should be.

I’m thinking bipolar/manic episodes. And, narcissism - which helps in business but wreaks havoc in life. With bipolar, meds can really help stabilize. He *still* can’t be wrong ever (must be fun for Kim, being wifey) but even this level of reflection is pretty good for someone caught up in that level of delusion.

And may I add, as someone who has mental health issues that are rampant in my entire extended family including my kiddos, a good psychiatrist will help the patient find the right kind of medications at the lowest possible effective dose. Please, Kanye, seek both kinds of professional help.

Serious note, this man needs therapy. He needs real therapy from a black mental health professional, not the Hollywood standard of meds, press release and a pat on the back. When people stop deifying him because of his music (even though he hasn’t put out anything worth a damn since MBDTF), perhaps he can actually get…
