I watch this movie once a year or so and I still adore it. I hold it in the same regard as the 80's fantasy movies of my childhood. I remember when they came back to TV a month or so later after the movie and I was SO disappointed they didn’t have the awesome movie suits anymore.

I clicked on this article when it was first posted and there were zero comments. I thought about posting something to this effect but got embarassed and left. Thank you for being braver than I am.

Ugh, I have such a weird guilt complex when it comes to that character. I despise him for who he is and the atrocities he commits, but at the same time, I want to have an epic bone session with him. It makes me so ashamed sometimes.

Yes, it’s so frustrating, and seems to happen automatically with Asian performers?
