The problems of Alien Resurrection are many, and cannot be blamed on one man. Personally, I think a lot of it stems from the fact that Jean-Pierre Jeunet was a poor choice of director.

It won't, thanks to Damon Lindelof.
And miss Vasquez make one of the best smack-talk comebacks in the history of cinema? No thanks.
It's just such a perfect example of the 90's "Grr, look how dark and gritty I am!" aesthetic that everyone loves to hate on. It just feels like Alien 3 would be Rob Liefeld's favorite of the series.
I don't think I'd ever call Keanu a good actor, but he is strangely effective in several of his roles. If you haven't seen A Scanner Darkly, watch it. It's probably the best use of his talents to date. Plus, Woody Harrelson and Robert Downey Jr. as drugged-up comic relief!
His new GL uniform looks a lot like what he wore in Kingdom Come.
If they were going to make a Green Lantern gay, they really should have gone with Guy Gardner. The jokes would have written themselves.
If I actually thought this movie had even half the sense of fun as this trailer, it might be my most anticipated movie ever.
As part of the legislation, Petey Pablo's most famous song will be amended to no longer include the line, "North Carolina, come on and raise up!"
The ending of Sunshine actually fits very well with the themes set up earlier in the movie. I think the problem was that the tone of the movie shifted so dramatically, not that it abandoned its intriguing premise.
Zombies in Illinois? Is Sufjan Stevens clairvoyant?
Arthur and Trillian my ass. Team Fenchurch!
That's an amazing collection of talent. Basically my entire childhood, plus a good chunk of my adulthood, all at one table together.
Venom had nothing to do with the dumb-ass resolution to the Harry Osbourne story arc.
Well, it is the logical next step in Radiohead's musical evolution.
"Superman, no, of course no. They would have to do away with Lois Lane and all those stories."
Great video. I knew he did the Pixar short "Boundin'" and I can see a lot of similarities between that and this Sesame Street vid. Guy's definitely got a style all his own.
They forgot to include the old man version of Agent Coulson.
I'm trying to think of Pixar characters with temper issues. The only one I can think of is Francis the Ladybug.
LOL @ Horst as Hawkeye. Such random yet inexplicably spot-on casting.
