I was so very pleasantly surprised with Arby’s burger.

Kerrygold is seen as one of the cheaper, lower-quality brands here in the UK. I’ll just usually buy a supermarket’s own-brand block but if I’m cooking something for someone else and want to make them feel special (the fact I’m letting them live should persuade them of that particular illusion...) I’ll go for something…
Agreed. His attitude, whilst White Gay Basic Bitch in tone and (failed) execution, is pure Yank-On-A-Rope.
Giada should not be included with these other people. She earned her spot. The others are nice enough, but they only are on tv because of their dads.
I can’t wait until bloggers tire of the term “nepo babies”.
South/SE Asian flavors? Yes. But knowing that doing it will automatically result in an appropriation piece here? Jeez.
Regional specialties sold nationwide means they’re no longer regional specialties. These can be a big factor in where people choose travel. Regional specialties should stay regional.
The Japan edition of The Takeout is bemoaning their lack of Peppermint Mocha, the Chestnut Praline Latte, and the Caramel Brulée Latte.
Gotta be honest -- not feeling captivated by any of these moments.
I don’t get the snobbery about people ordering in food for Christmas. No, actually, it pisses me the fuck off. So what if it’s not home-made? Do we all know how to make a pizza from scratch? Bread? Curry? Do we know how to fillet a fish and gut a fucking chicken? No, you don’t. So don’t be a dick to those who…
“It’s every consumer’s responsibility to find the best prices for themselves and thus put pressure on stores to lower prices across the board.”
I haven’t started going through comments but these top 2 alone are clearly written by people who just don’t understand.
yeah but with cajun style you get a six pound bag of limp fries tossed in an extra pound and a half of spices, making the entire bag inedible.
I can’t remember the fries as tasting any different from the burger. Salt and cooking oil. The fucking pickles probably also taste like that.
I really don’t give a crap about politics that try to say everyone should think and believe the way they want them to. Don’t hate a product just because the business doesn’t tout your opinion and they do offer their own opinion. Seems something should allow everyone to have their own beliefs without being ragged on…
It’s also good for people who have had Mexican food but realize that Chipotle isn’t trying to be a Mexican restaurant and so don’t pointlessly compare them to one in an attempt to seem urbane or whatever.
NRN notes that Five Guys, Starbucks, and even Chipotle failed to make the list in 2022. This makes a kind of sense, since the most habitual customers of those chains are most likely to be in a dense urban area where convenience and frequency of use are evenly matched.
Same. Canned tamales, canned refried beans, Rice-A-Roni Spanish rice, and microwave burritos that were actually baked in the oven. Thought it was a treat, too, till I got older and learned it was just a cheap meal.
I keep a couple cans in the pantry for midnight cravings since they’re so easy to make. They’re not the best tamales, but they make a great snack when I’m too drunk to drive somewhere to get better ones. :)
Fun fact: No prunes in Dr Pepper. Never has been. From their FAQ:
