Funny that, because I couldn't get through Fellowship of the Ring. I didn't care about the characters, and the plot seemed to involve a lot oaf walking/hiding, then walking/hiding some more...
As a small one, I refused to sit in the same room with the 1960's Batman series. The torture/kill batman cliffhanger scenes were too much for me. Also the flying monkeys from Wizard of Oz.

I had the opposite reaction. In Monsters University, they kind-of de-aged Mike and Sully. I think it reflects a kind of craftsmanship that is lacking in a lot of animation. I mean, isn't the alternative a kind of Simpsons universe where a kid is nine years old for twenty years?
