+1. If Brent is going to let a non-waterproof jacket win when "waterproof" was the criteria, then we shouldn't let synthetic disqualify a jacket just because "down" is a criteria.

Oh, we want you.

What the hell is Hastings thinking? Bad ideas: raising prices, splitting the core product, naming one-half "Qwikster". Good idea: video game rentals.

"As you know, Mitch and I were working on the cyanide system. Well, earlier today it ate itself. But, these little set-backs are just what we need to take a giant step forward. Right, Kent?"

I don't want this for home - but EVERY hotel room should have this on the nightstand.

"The difference between a 20 hour laptop and a 24 hour laptop is hardly material."

It's not the only way - but, thankfully, I don't have much opportunity to upgrade your average Dell/HP/Acer/Panafonics/Sorny laptop, so I don't know exactly what's under the palmrest.

No thanks. The area under the trackpad/palmrest on a Macbook Pro is taken up with hard drive and SuperDrive. On a Macbook Air, that area is all battery.

Is the Soundscape Air a rebranded Griffin Evolve ... or just a perfect knockoff?

You know what's going to improve ICS uptake? The slow roll-out of phones preloaded with ICS AND people eventually becoming eligible for their (subsidized) handset upgrades.

I've hung a large mirror using an identical mount - and the mirror is definitely heavier than my 47" LCD. If you screw the wall-portion directly into the studs, it isn't going anywhere.

"In mouse studies, big doses caused reproductive and behavioral problems."

Shine on ... you crazy money ...

Hmmmm...the Chinese are copying our designs. My foolproof plan to maintain air superiority?

I was going to be snarky and link to a waterproof housing - but they're $1600+. It's much smarter to just do what this guy did: don't use a housing, trash your camera, claim it on your insurance ... and buy a new 1D-X.

They're coming. Seagate (likely due to part shortages because of the Thailand flooding) announced that they are simplifying their desktop hard drive line. The Barracuda Green is gone; the normal Barracuda is going to be 7200RPM only; the Barracuda XT is going to be a 3.5" hybrid ... but they aren't out yet.

This looks pretty sweet. Now, I just need to figure out how to use the "tripod" mount to attach to a Picatinny rail...

Because Kenny Powers is the greatest that ever lived and hates being embarrassed by cocky car dealers.

A manure-spreader jackknifed on the Santa Ana. Gawdawful mess. You should see my shoes.

+1. You have half of the redneck toolkit by including WD40, but you are up the creek without duct tape.
