It was always interesting for me though because running a high power car in D1 is even more of a trick as the courses are extremely small. A 800hp D1 car may be common, but it is not "run of the mill" as 600-800hp is in FD. A well set up 300hp car can still compete in D1 and make it a fair way. Hell, 400hp still wins…
