Could it possibly have something to do with the complexity of modern vehicles and all their electronics? I imagine it's not easy replacing the interior of a newer vehicle.

This 1987 Toyota Supra Turbo doesn’t have VTEC, but it’s no doubt one of the cleanest examples you can find, and it’s way under the budget. 3.0L turbo Inline 6 with 230 hp and with a six speed stick, and fantastic handling to boot. Can’t beat it for bang for the buck.

How many little children does it scare (per mile)?

In my mind, you're still a communist after that episode of WCSYB.

Agreed, but it's kinda unfair to single out Acura.

That doesn’t matter and no one cares what it stands for. What does the MK in Lincoln names stand for? How about the A and Q in Audi names? Mercedes C, E, S, CLS, GL?

It's actually pretty simple... -LX for cars, -DX for SUVs. You just have to know the first letter.

Totally agree, Doug. My dad has a 2012 TL and it’s fantastic. Also, I wrote something very similar a few weeks ago:

True, but I was saying that in addition to the Le Mans thing.

Very true.

Which usage of awful are you referring to?

A quick recap, folks:

The main reason is the (likely intentional) Le Mans conflict. But also the fact that they make people like Hulkenberg miss Le Mans for an awful race like Baku.

As an F1 fan, I think everyone should just boycott the Baku GP altogether. It’s taking place in a country with an awful dictator, it's the same weekend as Le Mans, and it'll most likely be a boring race anyway. If the TV ratings turn out to be awful, maybe Bernie will come to his senses.

Hopefully

Why is the manual version 100 pounds heavier?

We have two silver cars. The first one was silver because the color doesn’t show dirt very well and is easy to clean, and the second was silver because “Give me whatever color you have the most of.”

I went to my first Cars & Coffee this morning! Lots of cool stuff.
