Well, going from Sync to MFT is currently possible, but I’m sure the website I linked will have a kit for Sync 3/Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, eventually.

Really? You’re probably the only person I’ve heard say that. I think it’s gorgeous, especially compared to MFT. I have a couple complaints about it, but Ford actually has a feedback mechanism for UI improvements, and people from their In-Vehicle Technology team hang out on various forums and take suggestions from…
You’re SOL, as MFT (there is no Sync 2) uses a different hardware set.
They’ve been saying all along that they’d include Android Auto and Apple CarPlay with Sync 3, they just needed time to integrate and test.
They will not. The Sync and MFT versions use different hardware supersets, however, http://www.4dtech.com/ offers MFT retrofit kits, and I have to assume that they’ll offer Sync 3 kits, eventually. They’re not cheap, though...
That’s the home screen. It shows you various display components, as well as the controls for each control set. If you want any of the component sets to be full screen, you can click the button, and have a full navigation map, full audio controls, full climate controls (redundant, as there are physical buttons). I’ve…
As someone who has a 2016 Mustang with Sync 3, it’s actually really solid. I drove a crap ton of cars with MFT, and they all sucked. I hate the COMAND system in my wife’s Mercedes. Sync 3, though, looks much better, and works great. I’ve had a couple hiccups with the navigation software freezing, but there have been…
There’s actually a company (http://www.4dtech.com/) that has kits to retrofit various Sync and navigation options into vehicles that weren’t originally equipped with them. It seems they’re working on building a kit for Sync 3. They’re not cheap, but if you want OEM fit and finish, plus OEM functionality, that’s the…
No, because they need the CFTs for their intended purpose, fuel.
Operationally, yes. This looks like it’s still in the first stages of testing and operational acceptance (post-IOC). In a large air battle, there will likely be at least two flights of Raptors, and two flights of Eagles. The Eagles will each have one aircraft that carries the pod.
It wasn’t a good response.
I know one person that drives a Subaru, and he wants to get rid of it because of the constant lesbian jokes. Subarus are not cool. A WRX is cool-ish. A STi is cooler. The rest are blandmobiles that are on par with beige Toyotas.
Still not cool. I saw one in downtown Charleston last weekend, and even my three-year-old son, who thinks EVERY car is cool, said something to the effect of “Daddy, what the heck is THAT?!?!”
I remember driving one of these at a GM performance driving event, back in 2004, and I was just plain bored. The shifter felt like crap, the engine felt sluggish, suspension was soft, the clutch felt awful. I know that they made them a lot better for 2005 and 2006, when they switched from the 5.7 to the 6.0, but damn,…
Ahh, now I see that it’s been updated to a DDG, the Bulkeley.

It would be really nice if Ford would update Sync 3 to work with Android Auto.
Drop the mic. You win it all.
My biggest issue with Murphy was that he was just a freaking bonehead - on the bases, on the field, making plays - he always looked like a little league player. The only place where he really looked like he knew what he was doing was when he was at the plate. I’d take Rey Ordonez and his .246/.289/.310 slash line over…
YES!
