Also, at 9:20ish you can see a critical transmission temp on the dash, either a faulty sensor or we're moments away from an expensive rebuild.

Emissions regs I guess. Still, as most owners will dd their M3 it makes sense, we all have to sit in traffic.
Love this thing!
Everyone involved can count themselves extremely lucky!
As much as we enjoy his stuff, he's always been more of a performer than a journalist, I think he just invents whatever opinions are required for the piece at hand.
This is interesting, as we are getting lots of diesels with stop/start now. I wonder what impact this will have on their life-spans & servicing? I recently rented a Focus (diesel, manual, wagon, of course!) and the start/stop system kicked in after only a couple of miles of driving.
You gotta be careful with that sense-talking around Tesla stories in here! :)
Can't get enough of the Zagatos.
Interesting, thanks!
I have a similar beef with the web in general. Now we have responsive layouts and the like for tablets & mobiles, why the hell is everything sill in a 900px box? My 13 in laptop has 1280 px, why can't we have full width! At least then the Kinja content in columns layout might work a bit better too.
What's particularly amazing, from a non -US perspective and especially considering it's a Chrysler, is that you could pretty much build it today and it would still feel fresh.
Great Odin's beard!
Track-side CCTV shows it in a slightly dodgier light. Can see why the stewards would consider admonishments now.
Hand beating the panels, such craftsmanship! I love that every surface is considered an "A" surface even if they'll never be seen again after assembly. I suppose for the price, you'd expect that attention to detail though.
I always wondered how much force would be required to break the rear sub assembly off, given the two halves look in pretty good knick, I assume the other car hit the Lambo or the lambo hit a pole or a tree side on?
Paul Gutjahr raced in Formula 3 for March & Derkek Warwick has certainly done a race or two. It's still a mean spirited decision, but I wouldn't be surprised if another team reported the 'incident' to Charlie forcing them into action where they might otherwise have done nothing.
