Has anyone who works on these "movies" ever watched another film & taken note of things like lighting, framing or editing I wonder?

I've been listening to this on and off for a few years too. Can't get enough of it. I think it sounds the best when it's off in the distance, probably the most evocative sound I've ever heard. In my mind I'm instantly track-side, the cold damp air of a misty British October morning against my skin. The car rounds the…
It helped Brawn GP somewhat that Honda left about £100m in Ross' desk draw. It wasn't quite 3 men in a shed start that made for the good PR at the time.
This is exactly what I pictured too! Being offer a deal at the Italian Legitimate Businessman's Club :)
Having the turn signal on in the fast stretches I think is another way of indicating that you're coming up fast on someone. Although the cars do a lot of useful stuff tho, even in my lowly A-class I had to do an emergency stop for some death wish guy who'd come to a complete stop in the fast lane for no apparent…
I used to work at a warehouse & trucking company who's entrance was beside a low bridge, even though we paid for extra signs and wrote a warning on every delivery/collection note to go around & come from the other side, at least twice a month someone would drive sheepishly into the yard with a parallelogram shaped…
The density of idiotic comments on this page is so high, I feel like we ought to have it framed.
The sheer engineering & detail in the F1 cars is mesmerising. Absolutely every detail & component has been slaved over by a whole team of engineers before making it to the car, it's no wonder they're astronomically expensive.
Rarity for sure, I can't even remember the last time I saw one of these in the UK!
I don't know how much is stock vs modified, but the white trousers set alarm bells ringing.
Absolutely! If it wasn't amazing enough to have a feature length documentary that's not only detailed and wonderfully shot, but the Cad's knowledge, enthusiasm and style lift it yet higher!
There isn't enough Alain De Cadenet on these pages!
Good Lord, did it get hot in here?
There's a fixed weight deflection test that the wings have to pass, but you can bet your ultimate local currency unit that the teams have already figured out how to make to bend X in the test and nX under race conditions.
The international sign of "Shit, that's going to be expensive".
I had an 09 for 3 years & I loved it. I used to take it on fairly long drives too, which to my surprise it handled quite well (anything less than 2 hours). I drove it in manual all the time and found the box to be fine, driving it medium-hard it changed pretty well.
I think I like them more not cut out, because they're even more pointless :)
I'd heard the stones thing was just Clarkson rubbish, and reason they didn't make production is that it took over 5 hours of manual labour to cut them out and edge them when the panels came out of the GRP mould and were dropped for cost-cutting.
