The Final Days of Gawker Have Come

He doesn’t give a shit, his money will protect him, just like it did the top Nazis (yes, a statement with many caveats but worth the snarky one liner).

They never really stopped. At the state level, they were constantly agitating against and many federal R’s were openly sympathetic (when off camera).

TLOU was a late-cycle PS3 release, giving it the HD treatment and rerelease on the PS4 was a smart choice then and especially in hindsight (abandonment of ps3 emulation, the success of TLOU2).

TLOU was one of the biggest major releases of the last year of the PS3. After the obvious amount of money sunk in and the popularity of the IP, they moved quickly to make sure it wasn’t left behind on a console that could (and has been) abandoned.

Mmmhmm. And the engine they built for Control seems like it would work just fine for Max Payne.

HA!

Control was a major hit for Remedy, plus Epic and Tencent have partnered\invested with them for even more funds. They made it clear in 2020 that they were going to be ramping up the amount of product they created.

The Tony Hawk 1&2 remake should be held up more often as a gold standard for bringing classics into the modern age.

But we want old SSX. It is modern design philosophy that has all of us wary of new SSX.

Huh?

GET OUT OF MY HEAD!

That is actually why I had to give up my planned Max Payne replay over the winter. I tried modding to widescreen, failed at every turn. Tried to stick to some barebones QOL mods, failed. Stripped all the mods...had sound issues crop up that either crashed the game or crashed the spoken dialouge.

As someone who spent at least a couple hours failing to get Max Payne running on my modern PC with just the barest handful of QOL mods...yes, actually, this is justified.

The thing you are complaining about?

I mean, under most commonly accepted frameworks of morality....yes.

anyone who thinks his modern music is on par with his classics...I question their taste, flat out.

Woof. As someone who grew up using that word in casual conversation, he still sounds quite at ease tossing it out.

Thats a big part of the problem for me. Every tomato I’ve ever eaten just tastes like red mush. Fresh, old, organic, canned...it’s all just mush.

Of course not. Gardening is nice but it’s a niche hobby for most people. If you look around and see a society where folks have the time&bandwith&resources&space to do more gardening...

I’m only here to check it still isn’t free or 5-10$, in which case I will totally pick it up.
