If I’m not mistaken, the approach angle is 3° worse, but the departure angle is better by 5° and break-over is 7° is also better and as you said the ground clearance is also better. So based on that I’d say overall it’s better.

except a stock LX is better off road than a Land Cruiser...
PREACH
Luckily nobody read this one it seems based on the general lack of discussion. Not so much for the LX, which just got the same treatment and ended up on the front page.
Have you been in both? There’s a HUGE difference in interior quality and not to mention the ride. I’d say the Land Cruiser is the rip off considering you’re dropping $80+ on a SUV with the interior that feels like a 2005 Camry. What’s an extra 12 grand? Not to mention the better resale value, better warranty, and…
Wait, I thought most Jalops lamented the crossoverfication of all of our SUVS.?
I think your point is right on the button but “engineer to last 10 years”? Did you forget this is an Audi we are talking about?
yeah... It certainly inspires confidence when the engineers that design the cars cannot prescribe the proper maintenance intervals to maintain them. So what your saying is you have to be smarter than the people that designed your car to be able to keep your car running or else you don’t deserve to drive it? Sounds…
That’s amazing. Were my eyes playing tricks on me or did I see a head-to-head tracked monstertruck race at 1:25?!
I disagree. Even people with no previous interest in endurance racing are talking about tbis car. If articles featuring a race on Jalopnik were a measure of of marketing success then this car already won the marketing race with a much lower budget thatn the big boys.
The lowest common denominator is barreling towards you in an SUV with their head buried in their phone.
waiiit, shouldn’t your icon be Gamblour in a blue oval then?
Tell us about your experience at the Ramada Express Rally in which you and your crew took the checkered flag, campaigning, of all things, a Lexus RX300.
He has actually done it before with a Rally Lexus RX300 and it was kind of awesome. You can read about it here.
