As someone debating between moving to Austin or Houston, what’s so bad about the people in Austin? Someone else said it’s fully of uppity white people, but as someone raising in CA and living in Portland, that’s kind of who I’m used to.

As a nearly 20-year resident of Dallas, I always say Dallas is a perfectly fine place to live, but there’s absolutely no reason to visit except for whatever pressing business or sporting concern you might have. As to the other big Texas cities:
