The best part of this is that the VW chassis and engine, can inexpensively be modded to far exceed the performance of the original Speedster.

My experience with the base model Mini was not good. Endless problems, and BMW prices for service and parts... And my dealership clearly didn’t value the customer loyalty of the owner of a “stripper” version of the car.

This feller is off-base, because he lowered his car.

Fuck BMW! They destroyed the entire idea, and aesthetic behind he Mini. The Mini was an economical, utilitarian car built for the people.

At over $40k, which is what this car will actually cost you, it’s a rip off.
