I think there are a few of us floating around! Great minds and all that! I am a die hard friends fan and I just watched the new graham norton chat show with matt le blanc and he sang a few songs from the show including the hand twin song from when he was in Vegas :) (if you’re interested you can probably get it on you

Thank you! (Still love your username, btw)

Thank you!

This is amazing and I want it.

Oh sure. I use Any Standard Ratatouille Recipe (they’ll be easy to find online), but I think it makes a difference that I’m particular about a few things.

I’m also an atheist, but a believer in “signs” like that as silly or coincidental as they may be. My mom believes that butterflies are a sign from her mom, and when I was in a really bad place a few years ago a butterfly flew into my car when I had the window rolled down and it made me feel like my grandma was looking

Damn, I’ve only been checking Jez sporadically the past few weeks, so I missed your ratatouille recipe/methods! Could you please repeat for those of us who missed it?

Lottery! What the hell, it’s only a dollar or two anyway.

My grandmother used to put her hair up in bobby pins every night, it was kind of a thing.

Hiya!

I should have clarified but her son that died was my long term partner so I'm just not sure if I should acknowledge the position she held in terms of our relationship and go the mom route or go otherwise

Too late to edit but I felt I should clarify that the child she lost was my long term partner, so she’s basically my mother in law and I've sent her Mother's Day cards & gifts for the last several years which is why I'm finding it all the more tricky.

I have also been seeing dimes around! What's with that? If it's not related to your grandfather, maybe the universe is telling us we look great?

Bob’s seen some shit in his day, man. he’ll fight dirty and really scrap with biebs.

this is now the only thing in the world I want to see

Inspired by Millihelen (love!), I’m sharing a tip. I find that even tinted moisturizer is too thick and heavy for me, so I put a pea sized dot of Laura Mercier on my fingertip and a pea sized for of moisturizer and mix. It gives sheer coverage, but looks like you have nothing on.

There are a couple of things that immediately come to mind for me. First, in some circles it’s customary to donate for funeral costs or the future of the family. “In lieu of donations” is one way to specify that people’s immediate financial assistance isn’t necessary, but the family would still get some comfort from

Exactly. It’s also true that, when you donate in someone’s memory, the charity usually sends a card to the family. I know it might seem ungrateful, but sympathy cards can be painful to receive, especially in the case of a sudden death, and for this family, the number of people they would need to write thank you notes

I don’t think they’d stop anyone from making a donation. It just seems like they want the sentimental remembrances more?
