Yeah, I was (partially, the part about me was serious) kidding about her age. It’s pretty crazy that any doctor would go this far out of the realm of viability/ethics.

Well, the person that told me that was in her early 20s. So I figure I’m already nearly dead to her mind.

Exactly. I told the person that the hypothetical kid could be dead by the time it reaches HS!

Well, be that as it may, this makes me feel soo much better about considering IVF at nearly 40. Someone told me last month that I “could be dead” when the kid graduates HS.

I think that is an excellent perspective to have. And virtually the only one that you CAN have that makes any sense, when it comes to down to it.

That’s so cool about the poetry book! I love reading stuff I remember my parents having or that I read when I was a kid. Brings back so many great memories!
