They're not disputing whether she was raped. They're disputing rather she is a reliable witness. So, what that tells me is that if a woman is anything but an upstanding citizen then she might as well not report her rape or assault. That is my point here.

I think it is an issue that when a woman accuses a man of anything the first thing they do is drag out her past. It's possible that it will make those that have been victimized with a past or maybe something questionable in their background not step forward because they won't be believed.
