True story: my dad traded a 1/4 lb. bag of weed for a first gen civic in about 1989. Blue, 4-speed, and didn't run all that well.

Nissubishi?

Kinja User Flyingstitch has the best description of this kind of truck:

Yup. Signature and Webasto make some really good products - and I’m saying that as an employee of the parent company of Signature. They generally drop the headliner, cut out one roof brace, cut a hole in the roof, install and wire up the sunroof - generally attaching it to where the brace was cut out - and put a new

Unfortunately, if you pick the manual, you better be happy with cloth seats and not much in the way of extras

Needs orange paint, canary yellow seats, rollbar, and wheels.

On our brand new car we bought the extended warranty. Because it’s a Fiat-platform Jeep with a tiny turbocharged engine that begs you to wind it out every chance you get.

I’m sure these women could give you wenching tips:

Good read. With summer coming up you may have the opportunity to do a “cruise-in-of-the-week” feature. Within 50 miles of UNCC there are literally dozens of Friday night cruise ins. I drove past one last night in Stanley (Gaston County) and saw everything from a race-prepped MGTD to slammed bugs to the daily-driver

The Sorento is one of those strange vehicles that seems to push all the right buttons but in the wrong order. Or it's a dischord of a car. I would take an Equinox before a Sorento.

I drove a journey a few weeks ago. It was like a cheap Chinese counterfeit Highlander.

Yes.

Some people would say that the Grabber Blue is a bit gauche or vulgar. Those people are wrong, and they probably drive gray crossovers anyway.

You hit the nail on the head when you mentioned Porsche’s SUVs. The profit from each Cayenne, Macan, and Panamera goes toward producing the Cayman, Boxster, and 911 that enthusiasts love. And those are only there because of the VAG management that put forth the Touareg and Q7. Without that, Porsche would still be

This is true - but it’s still far better than a CJ5. Rear passengers sat on the back bumper in those...

No. I call it a small SUV with a removable roof.

I like the open feeling. If someone makes a set of tinted lexan roof panels for these I’d be all about them.

I like it so far. We traded a Kia Soul for it because it needed far more work than I was willing to put into it while still making car payments. Like a new clutch and a $700 required 60k service to ensure the powertrain warranty would still be honored if the timing chain decided to break or something.

We actually paid less, I guess. Sticker was ~21k and we were out the door - after tax and dealer fees - for under ~19k. But that’s a $1200 option. Not bad, considering a panoramic roof is usually about $3-800 more than that.
