Yes.

Some people would say that the Grabber Blue is a bit gauche or vulgar. Those people are wrong, and they probably drive gray crossovers anyway.

You hit the nail on the head when you mentioned Porsche’s SUVs. The profit from each Cayenne, Macan, and Panamera goes toward producing the Cayman, Boxster, and 911 that enthusiasts love. And those are only there because of the VAG management that put forth the Touareg and Q7. Without that, Porsche would still be

This is true - but it’s still far better than a CJ5. Rear passengers sat on the back bumper in those...

No. I call it a small SUV with a removable roof.

I like the open feeling. If someone makes a set of tinted lexan roof panels for these I’d be all about them.

I like it so far. We traded a Kia Soul for it because it needed far more work than I was willing to put into it while still making car payments. Like a new clutch and a $700 required 60k service to ensure the powertrain warranty would still be honored if the timing chain decided to break or something.

We actually paid less, I guess. Sticker was ~21k and we were out the door - after tax and dealer fees - for under ~19k. But that’s a $1200 option. Not bad, considering a panoramic roof is usually about $3-800 more than that.

They only weigh about five pounds each. And the extra headroom is very nice. Do it on a sunny spring day.

It seems if you want a room-for-four vehicle with a removable top and space to haul stuff, Jeep is the only way to go

I see you know which color is best.

They have to raise revenue to pay salaries of genital-checkers who will be stationed outside of all girls and boys restrooms in every middle and high school in the state.

Hendrick Honda in Charlotte has one that same color in their showroom... with cracked vinyl interior and the car all locked up. It needs a restoration...

Cheap and rare enough that it won’t be hard to get my money back out of it if the local M-B mechanics can’t fix it...

Bills are all paid on time, just several cards maxed out with low limits. Also student loans are still high compared to their origin amounts too. The fact that most of the credit accounts are less than 5 years old, and are about maxed out, and we’re making more than minimum payments but it’s taking a while to pay

I think that’s the big question. With a credit score in the low 600s (had to live on credit cards for six months while my wife was out of work throughout most of 2014) I’m getting offers daily for new car financing. Many of them from reputable banks, and not “Phil and Tony’s Bank and Pizzeria of Hoboken.”

Paging Miss Mercedes...

The Alfa, especially.

I think you mean mid-70s European econoboxes...

Also, the guy telling me this was 21 and went to the same college as I did. I was 19 and knew (a little bit) better.
