Not me...but perhaps it was a regional thing. I didn’t grow up in Chicago.
I do like The Doors, though!

In case you didn’t see this in the comment stream. It was a knee jerk reaction to what I felt was an insulting focus. I attend those races and I don’t act that way. My apologies for the initial comment.
Hang on, this isn’t what I meant, after re-reading it. I felt personally insulted that I was being lumped into the same category as the lunkheads who act that way. My response was a knee-jerk reaction to that feeling.
If I offended anyone, I do apologize.
Thanks for the laugh!
Sooo..the take away...
MEN BAD!

Here is a tip: If you can’t stand the heat...
That must have been one outdated school program...
And no way we had cold war fears in the 80's..no way. At least not in the “duck and cover” mindset. It was all MTV, big hair and fast coupes. No one I knew worried about the USSR.
Just because you say it, doesn’t mean it’s true...
Tesla fits this description to a “t”. You can’t speculate about what they “might” do, you have to live in the here and now. Tesla might become wildly successful and sell ten million cars, or they could go bankrupt.
Until then, Tesla is an elite automaker selling a…
Russia is broke, with an economy 1/6th the size of the United States, they cannot afford to compete with us on *any* level. The nukes they do have are old and creaky, running off the same antiquated systems they were built upon in the 1950's.
We could create the most sophisticated arsenal of nuclear weapons ever…
Ducking under desks in the 80's? WTF? I was a teenager in the 70's and no one taught us to duck under desks even then! And for sure the cold war was not a thought in the 80's. That was stuff of the 1950's!
Maybe a rural area that hadn’t caught up to modern times?
Do not underestimate the usefulness of bailing wire!
Apparently everyone at Fisker understood nothing at Fisker. That’s what happens when you dump a bunch of free cash on a start up with no real guidance. They usually spend it until they croak, because, you know, OPM.
Business that start small with a good product, learn the ways to survive and grow are the businesses…
No worries, it’s just a Bernie supporter spewing out random thoughts. Totally harmless.
They can’t help themselves since there is no pipeline to protest and the Day Without Screaming Feminists march is over. That pent up emotional rage has to go someplace...
They’ll be off congregating at Starbucks soon enough to…
He might not be able to find a 12v starter for the engine and a new alternator would need a bracket.
Best bet, take them to an electrical motor shop and have them both rebuilt. They’ll run like new and costs should be reasonable.
In the world of automobile production, it is very low.
Lexus, for example, triples that number at 150,000, and that’s just their luxury brand, throw in Toyota to that mix and it’s ten million vehicles worldwide.
BMW & Mercedes, two stand alone brands, sell 2 million vehicles a year each worldwide. Audi sells 1.5…
Here you go...it is indeed a supercar by definition...
Here you go, it fits the definition perfectly...
It isn’t our fault, but the article is, yet again, another hit piece on President Trump. The “xenophobic ire” comment tells you all you need to know.
Thankfully the rage is slowly subsiding and they can focus on global warming, or electric cars, or wind power...or something...
Because it is. It’s very fast, very unique, very expensive and low production. It’s a supercar and there is nothing else like it which makes it even more rare.
I have an E60 M5, so I’m aware of the difference, at an unrestricted top speed of 212 MPH, my sedan qualifies as one. At least it’s supposed to go that fast...
I never said “limited production”, I said “low production”, which it is. Fifty thousand cars a year, worldwide, is very low production in the world of automobiles.
It’s a low production vehicle, and that’s ALL they make, it’s not the same as major car manufacturer that has a low selling model in a full line of…
Yeah, how hard is it to cry for Miami Attorney Jon Levey who buys a $100,000.00 supercar then whines because he had to “pay for gas” in his rental car? That kind of attitude makes you want to throw eggs at him, not sympathy.
I understand the frustration of not having your car, but it IS a low production supercar,…
