I’m not going to advocate for things to be harder than they need to be, but with the recent push for “right to repair,” it’s likely healthy for all of us to lose some of the stigma of opening our devices. It’s not a hard process and if in upgrading their system people learn more about it it’s to all of our benefit.

Having upgraded the storage on my PS3, it’s actually far easier now. You pop off the side (which doesn’t require any tools), unscrew the SSD cover, screw in the hard drive, and reassemble. Since it’s an additional hard drive, the console should handle the rest from there. It’s as easy as adding a hard drive to any

Before anyone bemoans the inevitable patching out of this glitch, lemme just lay this out here.

He's the 3rd character in the 2nd batch of new characters. I think there are 3 more coming.

believe it or not, most people actually own and play more than one video game

I'm not saying "ew 4k". I'm saying "I would need to buy a new tv for this" which is a step I'm not willing to take. And I imagine there are a couple of folks like me. I'd rather get a 4k Switch if it has increased performance in Full-HD

Nice for everyone that needs this but I will stick to 1080p as long as my tv holds it together. Also this may sound sceptical but the Nintendo crowd is not really in it for the grafx. I mean they held out with the Wii when everyone else was slowly approaching full-hd. Don't think it will get used much

Skullgirls’ rights holder contacted the former employees to look for ways to continue development. Wouldn’t be shocked if they pitch a new studio without MikeZ.

Also, this has been immediately added to my wishlist. I can’t wait for its release on...

woof bark bark

My dogs are going to get so grumpy when I stop obsessively taking pictures of them and start taking obsessive pictures of virtual dogs.

And I won’t lie, Luke: I find it kind of weird that Kotaku would be reporting on one of these wish-fulfillment rumors that seem to come and go all the time. The report you’re referencing is just paragraph after paragraph of what-ifs without any evidence of journalism. You guys are usually better than this.

Ah, the annual “THERE’S GONNA BE A SWITCH PRO, WE SWEAR THIS TIME!” rumors. The tech junkies must be on the verge of a panic attack if they’re screaming this loud

I have both xbox and ps5 and my Switch is never off, it’s always on and being played by the kids, my wife, me, friends at parties (pre covid) a 4k Switch would be amazing and “SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY”

AFAIK, these games are actually licensed though. Most of the portable emulation machines I’ve seen don’t have any way of getting licensed roms on short of you dumping your own (and let’s be honest, no one dumps their own roms). Part of the reason this is more expensive than a $30 portable emulator from AliExpress is

“Demands.” “Makes.”

It’s canonical that Nook is fully aware of the amount of hatred and contempt the players feel towards him and that it actually deeply affects him internally, but that he never lets it show on the outside. He always maintains his cheerful demeanor no matter how much he hurts inside because he also knows he’s the only

Now imagine in real life if Tom Nook was your landlord. What a great landlord.

I’m sick of all this Nook-shaming going on. Tom Nook is a dream landlord, especially so in New Horizons. He provides you with lodging up-front, with a zero-interest loan with no payment schedule and he buys any piece of trash you bring him.

We need to change the conversation on Tom Nook to one of celebration.
In every game, this man(raccoon) gives you a home FOR FREE. All he asks is that you pay him back for it if you want an even better home. Even if you view this as a loan, it’s a zero percent interest, zero penalty loan. He never mentions it again
