but to me that reads more like ‘this game isn’t good, but metering the content out got me to spend more time in it as I waited for the next level’ - not that every level is worth combing through every inch to appreciate its design, in its own right.

that respected the playerbase’s time and gave us incentive to explore every single level as much as possible.

I’m playing right now (never finished it when I first got it), and I think it’s great that there is still so much community participation.

Yeah - something that wouldn’t be perceived as beneath the main mode at least. Like, “Classic” or “Party”

There is a Basic mode too, where all the meters and extra moves are removed and it’s just straight up tennis. Pretty fun!

married to a mediocre action game

Part of me thinks the page is real, but the Fortnite logo is fake. It’s just a wee bit sharper than the other black logos, and way more in focus that the MHGU and DBZF logos on the same line as it.

I’m replaying Yellow on 3DS, but like I said - I don’t care much for the grinding, so I haven’t finished it.

I played Moon. You’re right, it’s not grindy.

As I already did before, here I am quoting myself:

I do want Exp Share, being able to catch with a full team, and trading anywhere. Some people act like all the advancements of the new games are some grave watering down, but to me those changes are a huge incentive to keep playing.

No, I didn’t say I wanted it to play like Uncharted. I said I liked how the series has gotten more modern since X/Y.

Seeing that a whole generation of kids were introduced to Pokemon with X/Y or Go, methinks you prove my point. Grown Ass Adults taking a kids series too seriously, insisting that it was, is, and always will be made for them and no one else because they’re the most important.

Okay, why would they be mad that this isn’t a ‘proper’ Pokemon game?

Yeah I know - but seeing that they were talking about Yellow, I was talking about the grinding in Yellow. You know...like how I exactly say

Yes...a Proper Pokemon Game for Real Gamers because a game about 12-year-olds wandering the country and befriending adorable critters is the highest level of Serious Business...so yes, there better be a Proper Pokemon, or all of us Grown Ass Adult Gamers will scream, gnash teeth, and send death threats...

That was announced last year, too.

If R/B were difficult, it’s only because they’re rpgs of their time.

My only regret is I have but one star to give you~!
