“No, but see, had we not threatened rape and violence against unrelated animators we thought were responsible for these war crimes, they would’ve never made these improvements...”
“No, but see, had we not threatened rape and violence against unrelated animators we thought were responsible for these war crimes, they would’ve never made these improvements...”
The gif sold me.
That’s hyperbolic. “Getting treated like thieving scum” would mean you’d do jail time.
I can’t handle how adorable this is.
This seems to mirror a lot of issues/growing pains webcomics had to deal with over the past few years too - and that stuff wasn’t nearly as centralized as content creators on YT are.
There are quite a few enemies that can one shot you if your defense is low. You can offset that with hearts for many, but Lynels can still kill you in one hit with 30 hearts, if your defense isn’t bulked up.
How many of those people voice dissent because they played it and didn’t like it, versus “I saw dunkey’s video REK this game, lol, he’s so right, everyone I know thinks it’s trash...”
The world may never know, but hey - at least as long as you scream it loud enough, long enough, above all others, it becomes Verifiable…
I’m still not too far in (gotta finish Zelda!) but I love her exchange with...Ben? The guy who wants to stop us from leaving for Eos. Rather than threaten, bully, or lie, she offers to help him out - all because she hates red tape keeping good from being done. That’s instantly likable.
Vetra’s immediately lovable.
The realest response is best response though.
Maybe it’s post-satire, like post-modern.
Why are you ruining their over-inflated sense of self-importance with things like facts based on research that’s sourced in your response? That’s just...so mean!
I said “comparing this to Chapter 13 in FFXV is hyperbolic”
I have been floored by the Zero Escape series, and can agree this is the right order :p
What I’m getting at is: equating one thing that’s designed to take 5 minutes (regardless of how long it takes you) as THE EXACT SAME THAT IS DESIGNED TO TAKE SEVERAL HOURS, is not the exact same thing. Or worse than. It’s hyperbolic nonsense.
I’m awful at stealth games, and this took me two tries.
Chapter 13 takes hours just to get done once. This mission takes 5 minutes to get done once. Retrying it over and over doesn’t change that.
It took me two tries, so 10 minutes I guess.
“That mission is a dumpster fire,” said Kotaku’s new features editor Chris Kohler upon hearing that I was writing this article. “That mission is the Final Fantasy XV Chapter 13 of Breath of the Wild,” he elaborated, “except Chapter 13 doesn’t last as long.”
between this, Octopath Traveler, and DQ Heroes 1&2, I have a stronger feeling that the Switch can be the ‘3DS2' or whatever. Having the kind & quantity of 3rd party support that the 3DS enjoyed would be more than enough for me to buy in. Weird, fun, experimental and throwback 3rd party games with Nintendo’s ‘AAA’…
