The Dark Souls of Final Fantasy, in that sense.

Or ground down into candy.

Well, the story being better...? Hard to say; I like the Souls series’ inscrutable lore. Nioh is far more direct - blurbs before and after missions, cutscenes for bigger stuff, not a whole lot to be inferred, or figured out.

catch a train that ushers dead souls to the underworld, and then suplex it into hell!

Ah shoot, you had to say Bushido Blade, huh?

Wow, how condescending.

This is hilarious, because the only ones I knew screeching about ‘confusion’ were Gamers. As if they weren’t the savvy know-it-all consumers they claimed to be, assumed everyone not them were idiots (pro tip: they aren’t), or they were deliberately sowing the narrative of ‘confusion’ in order to make it unquestioned

But see, it’s not that memes are serious business, it’s that Nintendo dared to do something with it. Because we hate Nintendo. Because Nintendo.

Different, I’m guessing.

welp, time to hit the grocery store!

This guy deserves a lot of credit - I do illustration & graphic design too, and it’s not every day you see people tackling both professionally. :D

That’s the opposite of New 3DS though. Nearly nothing is made with that platform in mind, and then ‘dumbed down’ for the old model. Nothing is ‘expected’ to work on N3DS, outside it working like it would on a vanilla 3DS.

That’s the opposite of their proposed new business models of ‘no new generations’

I think people who are deadset on being at the edge of technology constantly, yeah.

Ooooooooooh!

From my understanding, the docs on PS4 Pro use always insisted that the devs couldn’t use the Pro to do certain improvements if they couldn’t be mirrored on a normal PS4. Meaning framerates, loadtimes, etc. were the only real things they could do. Not stuff like new modes, bigger environments, and so on.

She looks like a whole lot of fun!

Still won’t pay $400 for a framerate bump.
