Oh, okay. I get that. I misunderstood and confused what you had said with the sentiments of friends. “When you stop looking is when you’ll find it” and that kind of nonsense.

To counter-point this:
Because we don’t play games so the embarrassing game part can get in the way of our stories...
I came in here expecting to see some Tokyo Mirage Sessions...
So I’m guessing the only rational thing for Gamers to do is send massive waves of unrelenting death threats, right?
Nah, because a feeling of depth on flat surfaces have more to do with value, colors, saturation, etc. than if it’s hand drawn or a 3D model. Especially if both 2D and 3D are being used in a fixed viewing angle.
I own all but Beginner’s Guide and can say each one was worth its own asking price. As a bundle? Super solid deal.

This headline seems...misleading? It sounds like you’re saying up top that this was a thing Marvel was making and then cancelled (‘canned’), and then in the article it sounds like this was a fan project that Marvel C&Ded.
I have a beast of a PC and I still choose to do most of my gaming on a console,
Look at it from this perspective:
So now it costs as much as XBL, and people are getting very mad about this?
If you bought one less than a year ago, and it died and cost you $150 to fix it within 6 months of use, you definitely got screwed with this news...
I really enjoyed the original, despite some drawbacks (combat always felt more finicky for an adventure game?) - I’ll give this a go.
Someone 3D printed a ‘real’ NX controller, so...
