The part of games being moments in one’s life, about people more than entertainment...that’s how games matter to me the most too.

[until Valve realized making games for insatiable Gamers is a chump’s game, and lets other devs toil away on that as they reap rewards]

It’s the kind of thing where, if you’re set upon by more than one ship at a time, there’s legit panic about getting blown away and losing cargo.

My niece is more hard core at Style Savvy than I am.

I can relate on cooking. It’s been so much fun and I’ve been getting gutsier (relatively) in baking. I’m making my own pie crusts now :D

‘cept now it’s this and Pokemon right next to each other o_o

Every single one of those interviews, they said, showed, and demonstrated that you could see other players? Or was it a more hand-wringy thing?

In one interview from three years ago.

I like it a lot, but I like the fact that it’s a game you can take at your own pace. You can be as thorough with exploring planets as you want, or not. You can make it a point to earn credits, buy All The Things, or get by with little. It’s a more slower paced game than most, which makes high-tension moments of combat

Fun Math Time
=============

“SEE?!?! THEY COULDN’T GIVE US SOMETHING WE SAW FOR HALF A SECOND, THREE YEARS AGO! THEY’RE LYING TO US!!! THEY SCAMMED US!!! FLOOD HELLO GAMES AGAIN, BURN IT TO THE GROUND, THEN FLOOD IT A THIRD TIME!!! WE’RE RIGHTEOUS IN OUR FURY!!!”

I find it super disturbing that it’s literally just Sesame Street heads placed on to top of SF sprite rips...

The Stephen Colbert interview was how long ago? You assume that the scope/details of a game never, ever, ever change, no matter what? Especially if someone says something publicly? Then it must happen, no matter what? Even if the alternative makes for an experience that, imo, is leagues better?

“No, see, we tell you what your inner-most thoughts are, you don’t dare tell us what your intentions are. That’s not how the world works!”

I love this!

Honestly? I hope it never happens.

Well, really, if you have the patience, wait for all of it to come out and THEN buy the pass if it’s worth it. Or, only the DLC you want. Or! Wait for the inevitable “GotY Edition” with everything included. OR!!! Wait for the inevitable, optimized for Scorpio/Neo, ‘Remaster Edition’

Oh! Another fun fact - you don’t have to wait for the mining beam to cool down all the way before you can get another full burst!

Another fun fact - going indoors, in caves, or anywhere that provides cover from elements will restore your suit’s armor to full. Not shields, but the stat that protects you from heat, cold, etc.

Were they releasing halfhearted, half-baked, shoved out the door garbage on PS3 and 360 too? Wow. I had no idea!
