and that’s okay! There’s an implicit ‘if Black people are around you’ attached to the statement. Consider also: the internet— with the caveat that I don’t want you to go out and try to collect Black friends like Pokemon.

Thank you. And to anyone asking “what does this have to do with video games?": Fuck you indeed.

Good on you for posting this knowing well there will be lots of people screeching about “I come to Kotaku for games journalism, not social justice”.  Everyone needs to pay attention, all ages, all races, all religions.  Only when people are paying attention will they actually comprehend what is going on around them.

It’s funny... the two shark levels at the end of FF2 made such an impression on me that, several years on, I primarily remember both games as shark games.

No wonder he can see so well.

My last contracted EA/Apex job this weekend, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed they snatch me up for another gig afterward.

“I’m not racist,” said Derek Chauvin, whose knee was on George Floyd’s neck until he died, a man whose crime was having been accused of passing a fake $20 bill.

Sharks get a very bad rap. They’re crucial for our coal reefs, and yet their populations are down by over 90%. Not sure this game will help their image, (Jaws is a lot to blame for this too) but it’ll be nice to play as one and get some payback on the real hunters.

I just finished TLOU for the first time last night. Got the remaster on the PS4 Pro. I will say that I am fully spoiled for TLOU2 but I don’t get why everyone is hating? Are we really that reliant on “twists” and “surprises” that we can’t enjoy a story for what it is? The gameplay they’ve shown so far looks (and

I just started a new Fallout 4 save today, and it didn’t take me long to want to just play New Vegas instead. God, I wish Fallout 4's streamlining didn’t shave so much of the RP off the top of the G.

The first game I remember “beating” was Super Mario Bros. 3, and I’d already been playing games for a couple of years by then. Back in the 8-bit days, games were generally so difficult—either because they followed the arcade design trends meant to bleed you of quarters, or because they were just poorly made—that

I’ve been seeing a lot of these “painting an image with terraforming” trends floating around. You could probably make an entire article of these!

I spent way too much time in MKX just running Alien vs. Predator, and now I’m gonna do the same with Robocop vs Terminator.

I'm playing Andromeda and am mostly enjoying it. It does get a bit repetitive. I never finished Mass Effect 1, I don't know why those games don't hold my interest.

PC. Got it in a humble bundle a while back but only recently got around to playing it.

I’ve been playing okami for the first time and I’ve been enjoying it. I just beat orochi so I figure I’m about half way through.

I’ve experienced this. What helped me, and I have NO IDEA if this will help you, is I moved away from games. I read more, watched more movies, built more legos, talked to more friends. When I finally came back to playing games more regularly, I had a great time.
