Just came in to this. One of my first Xbox 360 games was History Channel Great Medieval Battles, which I don’t think I even own anymore and barely remember. My biggest embarassment, though, was that Mass Effect: Andromeda was my most played game of 2017, which is also weird because I never finished it since it was so

I’ve been playing a Zelda marathon this year since February, mostly to conjure up Breath of the Wild 2 this year (didn’t work lol) but also to replay all these games I hadn’t played in years. Honestly, Skyward Sword was my first Zelda game, so I’ll always have nostalgic feelings for it even as I’ve played more Zeldas

I started a marathon for all The Legend of Zelda games I own for the anniversary a couple weeks back, mostly to replay these games that I haven’t played in a while (and finish some that I hadn’t yet.) I’m up to Link’s Awakening now; can’t wait to get to Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, Wind Waker, and Breath of the

Hmmm... games I’ve replayed a lot. These are some of my favorites that I'm always coming back to:

Yeah, I saw quite a few middling to bad reviews of Bugsnax when it came out, but I don’t understand why. This game’s great! I caught all the Bugsnax! The characters are nice and well-rounded with some good voice performances. I love when I catch Bugsnax, and they say their name through the controller speaker!

Well, I could always use more games about beating up Nazis.

It just feels weird to just go about things normally in a day like this. I had been warning friends and family members for months that something like this would happen after Trump lost (although I thought it would be more around Election Day/Week). It’s still astonishing to see it happen. I don’t really know what to

Gotcha. I guess it’s from the same school of thought as Pit (although I don't know how many people were clamoring for a new Kid Icarus) and Joker for Persona 5 on Switch.

I don’t mean to be mean, but can someone explain all the interest in putting Geno in Smash? I played Super Mario RPG a little while back and enjoyed it, but I didn’t get the love for Geno. Is it because he has a neat moveset that’s mainly projectile-based? That, I can understand, but I don’t feel like that’s entirely

Yeah, they probably will be pretty cheap soon. I’ve heard DSIII is pretty connected to Dark Souls. Is DS II really connected at all?

I’ve only played the two that I started (and beat!) this year, Dark Souls and Bloodborne. Both are really great games, but I prefer Bloodborne since I liked the flow of combat better and it had less annoying areas/enemies/bosses (The Tomb of the Giants can get fucked.)

I really like the atmosphere of the Sky Temple and zipping from place to place makes me feel like a Zelda version of Spider-Man. The only thing I don't love about the dungeon is how long you have to wait while hanging on something so that the platform you're trying to get to rotates into place. Eh, I complain, but

Twilight Princess isn’t my favorite 3D Zelda, since I think it took a little too much inspiration from Ocarina of Time. But, the dungeons were really good! Snowpeak Ruins, Arbiter’s Grounds, and the Temple of Time were all a lot of fun!

Whoops. My bad.

Just finished DAII last night as part of my Dragon Age marathon. Probably would’ve killed Anders if I’d have known that his VA’s a piece of shit. Oh, well.

Wow, Ash. I’m happy that you’re writing here, and that you feel comfortable to share your story with us. I hope that you’re having a great day, because I’m tearing up a bit thanks to your article!

Ah. Good point there.

Interesting comparison. Although at least Father Gascoigne was fighting the plague before he eventually caught it and became a giant wolf man. He wasn’t going around saying “The plague will eventually go away on its own,“I’m getting really tired of people talking about this plague, and “Don’t let the plague

This is some really great investigative journalism! I never realized that the singer of one of my favorite video game songs was such a mystery. This is the kind of article that I keep coming back to Kotaku for.

I just played that browser version. Honestly, it’s pretty fun as really ancient games go. I mean, compared to even contemporary stuff like Zork, it’s certainly less replayable. But, it does have a charm to it that only old PC games have.
