So, uh, was it just me, or did it seem kind of stupid that Supergirl, Cat, and Maxwell decided to have their little "how are we going to kill the Kryptonians?" chat in the middle of the newsroom filled with mind-controlled drones that Non can see and hear through?

There was only ONE original trailer that took a joyless angle, and that wasn't even a trailer— it was a Comic-Con sneak peek that leaked onto the Internet, forcing WB to post the thing officially. The thing had minimal actual dialogue from the movie (save for that one scene where Amanda Waller explains the concept for

One thing I'm going to throw in here: right before Karen shot Wesley, she countered something he said with "Do you really think this is the first time I've shot someone?"

"And Matt is currently fighting to protect Frank from the legal ramifications of his actions…"

I figure I can enjoy Wonder Woman at the very least. It takes place so far back into the past that it should, by all rights, be completely disconnected from the rest of the DCEU line-up— so I can enjoy it as a stand-alone Wonder Woman feature, rather than thinking of it as… ugh… a spin-off of Batman v. Superman.

SPOILERS

Agreed. But it's hard to overcome a bad script, even if you get everything ELSE right. I'm just hoping this movie has a firm foundation to build off of…

Thank GOD they're finally making a Wonder Woman movie!

How appropriate.

I don't really want to get into any spoilers, but I feel like Elektra's part in this season was weakened by being tied to a ridiculously outlandish plotline— which ends up becoming the plotline of the season— and the two big revelations of her actual character motivations.

I'm also going to mention that Superman: American Alien is shaping up to be a great addition to Superman's library. It's basically a Clark Kent story more than a Superman story, but five issues in, I love it to death.

Hey, a least his characterization in this show makes it pretty logical that he'd choose a goofy code-name like "Mister Terrific".

I actually think it would be flat-out hilarious if the show ENDED on season five. Because the flashbacks would be over by then, you see? And without the flashback structure, how could Arrow possibly go on? They add so much depth and meaning to Oliver's journey…

Well, I think they're trying their hardest not to make the flashbacks TOO relevant to the plot after season two, because… c'mon, how likely is it that the events five years ago would ALWAYS directly tie in to the events of this year? They're pushing it far enough with the evil MacGuffins from each season popping up in

I definitely agree! But I'd be kind of disappointed if Curtis joined as a Felicity fill-in.

I probably shouldn't say anything, but there are set photos online right now that reveal who's in the grave. I'm not gonna give it away, but if you want to know before the episode airs, the truth is out there…

I'm pretty sure that Hartley's turn towards good in this episode was meant as a send-off. Pied Piper doesn't have a lot to bring to this show: he's a scientist (they've got dozens of those), his specialty is sound waves (you mean vibrations? Hmmm… I wonder if anyone ELSE has anything to contribute in that field…), and

On the plus side, though, he's now on the hook if they ever need a pinch-hitting super-scientist to fill in on Team Flash!

Oh my God, this episode brought me all of the joy. Just ALL of it.

Yeah, because if they even spent five minutes talking to each other like civilized, intelligent, adult human beings, there wouldn't have BEEN a plot.
