Ahh, I pretty much consider everything after season ten non-canon. And I consider everything after season twelve pretty much unwatchable.

… I know. But that line is really awkwardly written and delivered, was my point.
"She can't do it!"
Well, the film was supposed to open with both Kirk AND Spock being born, one on the Kelvin and one on Vulcan… for that sequence, Ryder would have been sans make-up. But then they cut the scene out of the movie, leaving only the aged-up scenes in the film, so her casting ended up seeming kinda weird.
"So in order for Lisa to feel good about herself, Half of her relatives need to be doomed to failure?"
I know it's not a great film, nor is it particularly scary, but I have a special place in my heart for Trick R' Treat. If ever there could be said to be a popcorn horror movie, it's this— colorful, more fun than frightening, and with a fantastic headlining monster in Sam, the spirit of Halloween.
"This should all be more affecting than it is, but the script feels both rushed and flat, with Lisa’s fear coming on too quickly…"
This poor film…
Yeah— except the comic Merlyn's name isn't actually "Merlyn". It's Arthur King. Also, the comic book Merlyn was never a billionaire, nor the son of one. So if the shows were being that fidelitous to the comic books, then the fact that there was a character running around named "Tommy Merlyn" shouldn't have meant…
Ehhhh… No.
Wow— condescending much?
Uhhh, both Tommy AND Eddie were red herrings. I never lept to the assumtion that Harrison Wells was the Reverse-Flash just because he was a shady time traveler-type. I was kinda hoping he was a ruthless Rip Hunter who was trying to preserve the integrity of the time stream. I felt like it would have been a clever…
I'd say there's an 85% that "Winn Schott" is NOT Toyman. After all, this show is from the same guy who gave us "Tommy Merlyn" and "Eddie Thawne"— two hunky supporting characters whom we all THOUGHT would be revealed to be major villains down the line, but turned out to just be related to them somehow.
Oh, sure, YOU guys may be happy, but I actually LIKE the Friday the 13th franchise. No matter how bad the new movie is, they can't ruin the franchise, because they're ALL bad movies. That's what makes them fun!
Undoubtedly.
… Spider-Woman…
Am I the only one who geeked out a little bit when Friendly Tour Guide Lady mentioned that S.T.A.R. Labs was founded in 1991? Y'know, because the old Flash series ran from 1990-'91?
Time travel. The singularity was created by a temporal paradox, so it's reasonable to assume that not only could it throw Eddie into another universe, but into the past of another universe.
I felt that moment accurately represented the ratio of children on any given field trip who actually gives a shit about what they're there to learn.
So he did a mash-up using Smells Like Teen Spirit, and the bits he chose to use for the song were the lyrics? That's like having your pick of one of Superman's powers and choosing to take his super-hearing.
