They most certainly aren't entitled to it. Do they depend on it? Definitely. Do they deserve it? Most of the time. I spent years waiting tables and tending bar, but to even think that I am entitled to your money is outrageous. If I give you good service and get stiffed, I would be upset, but if I give terrible service

Ok, I will be the troll here. Can I just say I shouldn't have to earn their service? Wait staff know the job they take. Some are better than others but all should do their best to meet the needs of their customers. They should do it because that is their job and it is what they are paid to do.

"Well, the real answer to your question is this: Because we're nerds and caring way too much about pop culture entertainment is what we do."

Yay, it's not just me then!

I really do agree here. If you work hard for your money, and have worked in the customer service business, then you know that you are owed NOTHING by the customer except a bit of respect. Your EMPLOYER is the one that is supposed to pay you.

Fucking service workers, expecting to be paid a decent wage! Get outta here!!

Tipping's optional, *that's* the reality.

And then you pay $200+ to replace the starter from excessive use.

Audio equipment is often a great "used" buy. Speakers, receivers, and other audio gear—especially the older high-quality stuff—can last a really long time, and buying it used means you get more bang for your buck!

I've never been particularly career-motivated; my job affords me financial security and I enjoy the work but I'm not passionate about it. I live for the time I get to spend with my wife and young sons.

Not to mention that to pilot a flying vehicle, one has to get a pilot's license first. And in order to do that they need a minimum number of hours of flight training both assisted and solo. On top of that they have to pass several exams that would include: procedures for landing and takeoff; know the operational

I read this story off of a reddit link, and a lot of people also came to her defense in keeping the car. The fact is, a known vehicle with a known maintenance history is a relatively smart decision over selling and getting a possible clunker. Controlling risk is just as important as controlling finances.

Am I the only one who hates video posts. With all the video clips, news, reviews, etc lately I feel like I'm encroaching on a "get off my lawn!" Part of my life... But I just want to read, not watch ;/ I don't want to listen to other people.

Well keep in mind that a major part of the cost of building a fast T-1 or even going to a stock T-4 is the need to use dual carbs. Weber 44iDF's or the Empi clones are good for a mild T-1 or stock T-4, CB Performance's fuel injection is even better. Also the 911 Gen+fan on a T-4 conversion isn't cheap.

I found the info about hotels in London contrary to my experience. I usually vacation there in March, and the hotels are usually cheaper than in April, but the chart says the opposite. I've also found hotels there to be cheaper in September than August.

The flat-6 requires setting the firewall back, and is more trouble than it's worth. I don't believe in cutting up these cars extensively, except for extreme racing use. The T-4 bus/914 motor is easy and "pretty much" bolts in. You do have to rip all the T-4 pancake cooler shit off of it and move to an upright cooler.

Yeah the pinto motor sucks. A mildly built 1776cc motor easily makes 100hp, let alone building a fast stroker T-1 or T-4 motor for it. A pinto motor screams cheap.

I'm thinking this is like Krockodil Needle territory, ya' know that russian shit that causes your flesh to rot off
