I think this can be best utilized on storage secondary drives. A lot of us have SSDs for our OS but a secondary drive to store all the crap. I've got Origin on my SSD (read: Sims 3), but I can't fit EVERYTHING. So yeah, If I could partition of secondary with all the other programs and STEAM, then that would help a lot.

There will be now...

At one point I literally had a box filled with brand new hard drives that were being thrown out. I'm on SSDs now, and do backups to an external and some cloud stuff. Honestly, it's amazing how unscary the thought of a crash is when you don't keep anything important on your computer anymore. The only pain for me

Yeah, I'll agree that—even if it's just a small one—getting an SSD is always going to be your best bet for speed. That being said, not everyone can afford one or would rather put an old mechanical they have lying around to good use.

My husband and I have a pretty similar split to what you and your wife have, although I have done some minor home repairs (fixed a leaky sink, etc.) and could do the heavier outdoor stuff if needed, and my husband definitely has a tendency to rearrange furniture and have strong preferences on some decorating things.

Just a note on Permethrin... Unless you are buying concentrated formula (10%) I don't think you need to be paranoid about it getting on your skin. It's usually mixed down to a .05% .10% solution..check the bottle. Permethrin doesn't soak into the skin and quickly washes off skin with water and quickly breaks down

Actually, if we go far back enough we probably share a common ancestor with a tree too. What I'm saying? we probably share a common ancestor with plankter. Life evolved outside our planet is probably even harder to relate to.

Your advice is spot on! This is what I told my kids. Money will allow you to follow your dreams and do things you are passionate about. Money is an opportunity maker. My youngest loves to make cute little cup cakes and baked goods...as a passion -great -as a long term career giving her a lifestyle she

There's no reaosn to believe they couldn't evolve to look like us, no. But the odds of it happening would be beyond insane. Random mutations acted upon by selective pressures - how many rolls of the dice would that be for just one species - us - to end up looking as we do? And what would be the odds of it being

Dinosaurs didn't use their forelimbs as hands, they lacked the articulation to allow for it.

You are probably correct. As a matter of fact, we humans probably have more in common with that dog or chimp that you mention than we would with any alien species. We will be lucky if we can even communicate basic concepts with them, let alone have some sort of personal relationships.

Regardless of which of you is right on this particular argument, your prawn discussion shows that the biggest thing preventing alien love would likely be: the yuck factor.

One thing to note is that, depending on where you live, your assessor's office could actually increase your tax assessment if they find a reason to during their review. In my county, the assessor says they will never raise it as a result of the appeal, but you should check your area to make sure.

both of my grandfathers were world war 2 pilots in the pacific. My father is a retired colonel in the marine corp who served as a platoon leader in vietnam in 1968. He also fought in the first gulf war and trained the iraqi national guard in baghdad in 2005. He was head of security at the pentagon on 9/11 and was

We need to be realistic more than perfectionistic. Telling the world that a single offensive statement makes you banishable will do nothing except alienate 95% of people from the idea of social progress

Oh get over yourself. I'm gay and I have used that word in anger. It's not a good thing but it's not some unforgivable sin.

I realize that this is going to be unpopular, but I don't know how many of you have seen how paparazzi treat the celebrities they follow around all day. I know that it's a part of the territory and whatnot, but they say awful shit to not only them, but also their families and the people they're with, in an attempt to

I'm gay, and I was taunted by that slur and others throughout my entire childhood.

"Hate in your heart will consume you, too."

Zero sum games are really hard standards for humans. I've said horrible things in my life and have gone on to still be a pretty decent social justice educator. This type of apology is an excellent example of how to come off sincerely instead of #sorrynotsorry.
