I have similar questions. Everything we see of ISIS is grim murder and rape. That’s not a pleasant life, and no matter how much you think religious ecstasy and moral righteousness feel good, it’s a big step for most. What is the appeal?

For real? This is suspicious to me.
Need different vodkas for different purposes. Stoli for bloody marys. Ketel One for Vodka/tonic/lime, Grey Goose for cocktails.
One out of about every 17 or 18 Americans lives in the NY Metro area. It’s not just arrogance that makes NY-centric stories prominent — it’s also good business.
+1 for Posting and Toasting, greatest blog on the whole damn internet, and the best reason to be a Knicks fan.
I think the point is that Caitlyn lied about being a man.
It seems to me that people who say that race cannot be fluid must mean that in their own experience it’s not true, and refuse to think beyond that.
We’ve had Dude & Maude Lebowski costumes on the back burner for years, but haven’t had a party to go to in just as long.
I am not prepared for a world where white t-shirts are a racial marker.

I tend to go with color groups. So if I’m wearing pinks or lighter colors I’ll try to go pinkish for lipstick, or if I’m wearing more stark black/grey things I’ll do bolder makeup, and if I’m wearing earthy colors I do more brownish/nude colors.
You’re so good for actually answering dumbass comments like this. (Maybe there is something to that Christ stuff, because I would be less charitable.)
Absolutely — both Richards and Clinton have the advantage of being in the right, as well as whip smart and poised (is there a word for ‘poised’ that doesn’t sound so pageant-y?). I do think Clinton benefitted from the optics of having all those angry dudes getting all frothy at her, the same way Rick Lazio coming in…
All. The. Time.
You’re cute. This isn’t as good a comment as the one about Cecile Richards selling baby parts, but still a nice try.
(it was Elijah Cummings)
I was not aware that the rules of punctuation and grammar were so different in the UK.
It doesn’t hurt that Clinton and Richards are about 19x smarter than anyone else in the room.
All dickishness aside, Jeb! just looks way too much like his brother.
About half of the women in the entire world have straight hair and are not white. It’s insulting and very ethnocentric to reduce everything that is not black to white.
