My old boss, an insanely organized woman, missed a very important meeting because she wasn’t allowed on a flight due to maiden name/married name discrepancies. There are SO many ends to tie up and it IS an enormous hassle. There’s always the option of keeping your name legally but using your husband’s “socially.”

Just a little point: getting married is the huge milestone. Having a wedding is just a party to celebrate it.

This song fills me with almost unspeakable rage, and yet I cannot stop singing it. RAGE.

I’ve never done a marathon (scary!) but when we go out running together sometimes Mr. Mahut turns to me and tells me I look beautiful because I’m glowing with health.

Is your hot take literally “white men get away with stuff”? Because, yeah.

1/10 concern trolling. Republican SoSs did do exactly that, and no one seems to care, AND you can’t seem to spell Hillary’s name correctly.

In fairness, maybe it was the classifieds?

I wear sunscreen and decided that I don’t give a flying fuck if my skin is flawless or not. Works perfectly!

Not in Hollywood, I don’t imagine.

So strange - I have the widest feet ever and nikes have always felt great.

Sorry for your loss.

You know that didn’t actually happen, right?

I’ve always advised study abroad in the most expensive place you might want to go, since there may be no other time in your life you’ll be able to just live in downtown Florence, you know? Whereas 3 months living in Guatemala might not totally break the adult-you bank.

Civil service laws usually shield workers from being responsible for monetary damages. It sucks, but also makes sense. There should be a way to un-protect cops in some cases, I think.

We NYers pay $$ for our police department’s mendacity. Per usual.

I think you mean a terrorist shouldn’t be brought down to the level of Drake.

The funniest part of this is that Drake is terribly unattractive.

Manicures are $8 at the place across the street from me (in Manhattan). It’s crazy.

Any high profile (pretty much defined as “in the media”) case gets fast-tracked at CCRB. So yeah, being famous made it go way faster.

I need to know everything about this now.
