Virtuous Star Destroyers is the name of my Star Wars-themed emo band.

Concentrate all firepower.

I’ve listened, just. . .not, like for the singing.

btw, Mascis cut one record with a project called Heavy Blanket where he did instrumental stoner rock.  So if you want his guitar without his voice, there’s some out there.

I’m a huge music fan but not a musician, so it’s always interesting to me to hear what actual musicians think about music, especially what makes it good and bad. I saw Los Lobos play at Artscape, a free outdoor festival in Baltimore, in 2002. Someone at work had played Colossal Head a lot, and I had gotten hooked on Mas y Mas’s awesome groove, and was hoping to hear it. They announced they had one more and said “this one goes out to the Ohio Players,” who were also there.

I may have it finally figured out when I’m 64.
