Yeah... No. There was NOT enough material for a season 2 until maybe last month, which is not enough time to organize production staff. You sorely underestimate how quickly exposition fly by, and AoT has an abundance of the stuff.

It’s safe to say by how offended you are that you don’t know shit. The anime covered the first 34 chapters of AoT and we’re about to hit chapter 72.
