There’s that old Gawker feeling.
PS3 wasn’t exactly the pinnacle of engineering either. That whole generation was an example of why tech-races in consoles have resulted in so many fuck ups over the years. Meanwhile weird hipster cousin Wii did gangbusters.....go figure.
“Hmmm. Misusing ICE is the only way I can get a boner.”
Japan: No.
Yeah, that is the issue with the ‘disruption’ model. A lot of times new businesses are disrupting the kinds of regulations that were put in place to protect consumers, a la Uber and yellow taxis. Then the disrupter starts causing issues that the regulations they were bucking were designed to address.
Right, people just have to look. Airbnb WAS super convenient last year when I went to Japan mind you, but if I didn’t have that option, it’s easy to find cheap stays. We were going to spend a couple nights in a capsule just because. There are plenty of love hotels too for cheap, you just have to look.
I actually think housing shortages are the bigger problem with AirBnb than hotel lobbyists. I’m sure the latter are pissed that a significant portion of their business has found accommodations elsewhere, but in dense city places where people purchase housing specifically to rent out takes those dwellings away from…
I don’t think so. The bigger problem is a lot of people bought residential properties to live in with their families, and now there’s a hotel next door to them. Even before this law a lot of properties were banning owners/renters from allowing people to rent their rooms as minpaku.
I saw a lot of bitching about this on Twitter, but there’s tons of cheap hotels available even after this move. Plenty of Minshuku around, too (those are basically smaller family-run hotels). Rakuten travel is also helping owners of minpaku to get registered properly.
Realism? That’s your argument, when discussing Soul Caliber? That these women are realistic?
It’s funny, I’m looking at professional women fighters and there seems to be a lack of super curvy, stick skinny, E cups.
Boobs are hard to fight with. They’re incredibly painful if they get hit, they ruin good form and are generally just a pain in the ass. Even if a fighter has boobs, they’re strapped down and well…
It’s not the existence or nonexistence of these body types.
Hello, natural DD cup here. If I go out wearing less than a full underwire bra with three layers of fabric — exactly the type of garment that *doesn’t* allow for breast physics — I’m crossing my arms and bemoaning my aches before lunch. Bouncy tits hurt.
“There are women out here in real life that do have these body types.”
Airbnb was trying to disrupt the grey regulations of short term leases. The result? More regulation to offset the problems that Airbnb created / brought to life.
That’s some good Mike on Mike and Mike violence right there.
in the span of 24 hours, he retweeted Sebastian Gorka, Donald Trump, and Jim Rome.
Somewhere Alex Jones is nodding vigorously as he removes his shirt. However, that’s not related to this story.
I think so yes, the super-mega updated version
