If the Eastern Conference will be won by the team with the biggest white Euro, Philly’s trade for Boban is looking pretty good right now.

It’s tough to see the Raps move on from Jonas but it does have to be said that while he was a big, sweaty European, he wasn’t the biggest, sweatiest European. 

Given Sunderland are presently nine points behind Luton Town in League 1 (!), that may be the nearest a Black Cat gets to a PL contest for the foreseeable. (Which is kind of a shame — Tyne/Wear was a good rivalry.)

One of the more lamentable aspects of the Roger Goodell era is his clip-artification of the NFL. From the boring, homogenized Super Bowl logo to the dull-as-mud Conference Championship trophies, the league abandoned its quirky, rec room aesthetic to looking like a PowerPoint template.
