Even before I clicked it, I knew it was The Ringer. Damn, how I miss Grantland.

I agree! Some indoor summer sports could be moved to the winter to restore greater balance (i.e. boxing, weightlifting, indoor volleyball). This would have the additional benefit of opening up the Winter games to countries without snow.
