Jesus, that’s very totalitarian of you.

Yeah, you could be cut beforehand, meaning you weren’t even good enough to go 0-16.

This needs more stars.

Yeah, I do.

Except the Cleveland Browns are named after their first head coach, Paul Brown.

As you might guess, a Deadspin interview is not the place to parse those distinctions.

That Mark Harris tweet is satire, not actual quotes.

But when is Bolt going to race a shark?

Darrel: your submission was amazing, man. Seriously.

Piss off.

Meh, I don’t care much for Kevin Clark’s work, either. What I liked so much about Mays and Barnwell was their chemistry as well as the fact that their interests and expertises were rather complementary. Still, I take your point!

Oh, absolutely! It’s what Tony Kornheiser refers to as the infamous “Thursday show” — by that time of the week, it’s not easy to find earth-shaking content. However, I was talking more about Mays and Barnwell’s former show vs. their splinter productions. Still, good point by you!

I miss that show :( their successor shows just aren’t the same. I only listen to the Ringer NFL show episodes with Mays (his co-hosts are otherwise unpalatable) and I can’t be bothered to listen to Barnwell talk about reality TV. RIP.

Wow, after all this time, my burner name is (finally) relevant!

I don’t know, but I’ll bet no major characters are killed!

Booooooo

The weird/infuriating thing is that Chelsea almost always makes profits on its failed players in the transfer market. Players like KDB, Lukaku, Mohamed Salah, and even freaking Papy Djilobodji have flamed out at the club and *still* leave for more money than they came in for.

This comment made me giggle audibly in public. Thank you.

Wasn’t it actually Markieff that Lowe was referring to?

“Just won the East.” Did you watch the playoffs?
