MFM actually recently had a survivor come to one of their live shows, from one of the cases they covered. She got on stage and talked about how she appreciated how they talked about her, and her case, and she felt like they were her friends. It was really nice, everyone cried. Totally understand it’s not your cup of

Overall agree: it’s nice, if you don’t think too hard. There’s no exaggerated stereotypes (that I’ve seen so far) and everyone is genuinely helpful. There’s no mocking. It’s a nice show. That’s.. about it.

Love this show! Really disappointed with the season 2 hosts. They’re such bad sports, totally bland, dead eyes, boring — especially compared to Terry Crews, who seemed genuinely excited to be there and was nice and respectful to everyone.

In college I had a friend who would eat hummus with tortilla chips. I was disgusted, and then I tried it, and the saltiness of the chips went nicely with the (unflavored, dear god why) hummus.

Also, women already tend to have less saved for retirement. So really, this just widens the gap and makes it harder for women to build wealth.

No, her eye was the “toll” for her trip back to Fillory. The fairies kept the baby.

Oh my gosh. If you’re that old, just tell any secrets before it’s too late!

I appreciate your post but do want to add: people aren’t just suing because doctors sometimes make mistakes. There have been enough investigate reports into hospital deaths and people dying, regularly, because of laziness and lack of attention. I understand it’s turtles all the way down: nurses and doctors are

Why isn’t this shit on every front page?

Thanks. I wanted to click on the links but I resisted. She absolutely looks like his daughter. Oh my gosh.

It kind of sounds like men’s magazines are where women’s magazines were in the 90s. It might not be as bad as the messages women get, but it’s still toxic and damaging.

I think that’s my favorite series that any website has done, covering anything, ever. Can we bring that back?

It’s generally more the language used around it all. “Purity Ball” vs “Mom Prom” (which is just cute). The girls dress up like tiny brides. Fathers are responsible for protecting their daughter’s virginity. It’s just all.. skeevy.

Just this week, there’s a story about a German nurse who killed over 100 patients. Police say that if the hospital had done basically anything at any point, they could have stopped him. The whole “it was the 70s/80s!” refrain just isn’t true.. cover-ups still happen for PR reasons all the fucking time.

It’s not the same level of responsibility. But it is also hard to believe that someone that close doesn’t know something about the behavior going on. You can be responsible for not helping.

Oh my gosh. I recently deleted every single email in my inbox and then as new ones came in, unsubscribed individually. It way way less intimidating than heading into the current pile.

When I saw this look, I said out loud, “This is exactly how I would have dressed and done my hair if I were a famous teenager.” So fun.

That kind of makes sense since the Marines run Toys for Tots! Maybe, when he’s not risking his life, he’s helping deliver presents.

Agreed. If nothing else, I assumed the massive tax revenue would be a win for Republicans but Sessions judgmental moralizing is more important than money.

This is an insane sentence.
