Seriously. I can’t believe how many people are comparing media criticism to actual violence. It is not at all the same!

It’s really not.. innocent women were burned at the stake and died on fire. Now their suffering is equivalent to media criticism? Please.

Some 22 year olds are parents, war vets, suffer from disability and illness, etc. It sounds like you had the opportunity to just be an idiot, and that’s fine, but it doesn’t mean you were a child incapable of informing yourself. If you can be judged at trial as an adult, why can’t people in society treat you like one?

I’m so tired of treating a super vocal, angry minority as an equal “side” in everything. People who are angry on the internet get amplified, even if there are 1,000 of them. That doesn’t grant them an equal voice to the actual creators and actors of the film in reality.

I really enjoy rewatching the first season. Creepy urban legends and ghost stories! They got to the heaven/angel stuff way too fast and then had to keep making things bigger and bigger, like you said.

Considering there have been anti-mutant laws in place in their universe for years, to the point of having an entire gov’t agency devoted to hunting and detaining mutants.. seems like it’s been “war” for a long time now. Agreed about the Hellfire Club. It’s fine to see the Lauren anguish side of “should we even use our powers to defend ourselves?!” but considering what they are up against, it’s super realistic for some mutants to be saying “fuck that, I’m defending myself, and this is what I think that means.”

Why doesn’t this review actually say what ADR is? I know I can google it, it’s just one of those basic writing things.. don’t use an acronym without defining it somewhere first. Maybe I missed it in the review.
