Seriously, what an under-awarded and underwatched show. I’m so excited for season 6! Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell act their faces off. I totally believe that Keri Russell is a Russian spy living in America in the 1980s. She’s so good.

You don’t cut rich adults slack for ignoring their problems. If she has mental problems, there are things she can do about it. If she chooses not to (which I have no clue about, tbh), she doesn’t get slack from me. There are plenty of functional adults out there who would kill for her platform and/or a tv show.
I don’t think it sounds insane but I think there’s a lot of assumptions you’re making. Social media is such a curated presence but we all assume we’re seeing someone’s “real” self or life through it, even though we might be seeing 20% of someone’s thoughts and feelings.
The “court” of public opinion isn’t an actual court of law. People seem to have a really hard time with that these days.
I’d watch this.
Just listened to the first episode of Atlanta Monster. It’s well done, using a lot of actual news footage and people from Atlanta. It’s only the beginning of the story and it already makes me feel full of rage and sadness and I can only hope someone is finally identified (or even caught) as part of this effort.
I wish my fitbit had that problem.
How so? I don’t follow him so I’m curious what he’s guilty of. (Other than being an asshole)
I’m also in the “no” camp. My coffee table has drawers so I can hide clutter and such in it. Marie Kondo would tell me to just get rid of those things.. but I use them. I just don’t want them sitting out all the time.
I’ve recently started trying to cook vegetarian more than 50% of the time (mostly looking for non-meat proteins) and, to keeps things new and interesting, I have gotten pretty creative. I think most people imagine “vegetarian food” in stereotypical ways and imagine bland/boring/steamed/tasteless. It’s totally untrue…
I don’t think you can say that’s “true” at all. We have no idea what their relationship was like. Simplifying and trying to negate an entire relationship, based on one emotional Instagram post, seems a bit much. It’s also incredibly patronizing to Rayya, who you seem to think wasn’t able to make her own decisions or…
Off-topic, this is my favorite meme. Don’t see it enough in these chaotic times.
And outside of work? Going to an employee’s home to spank them? What the fuck?
It would be super if it was that simple. In some situations (not all), women are penalized for asking. And sure, you don’t want to work for that kind of company, but clearly, a lot of companies are that kind.
It definitely didn’t feel earned. There are SO MANY mysteries happening at once! It feels like two seasons worth of plot lines converging. And maybe they’ll be able to tie them all up in the remaining episode.. I just doubt it.
I feel like this episode really showed the lack of progress/growth the Strucker kids have made. After a whole season growing into their powers, their non-mutant parents tell them to do something and it’s all, “Sorry, my parents said.” I really expected at least one of them to resist, but that was giving them too much…
Why be grumpy? Those fancy Aspen hotels tend to offer 50% off rates for Colorado residents. I loved going up there and pretending to be a fancy rich person who hangs in Aspen.
“A character isn’t an asshole because they are the people they are raised to be.” Sure, not by default. But some of them are. There are parents out there who give a fuck about how their kid turns out and still abuse them. There’s no one easy answer.. but it’s okay if some people think Philip is an asshole because of…
I’m not sure they were ever actually “in line.” I think it was all just.. quiet and swept under the rug and permitted by people who knew and they had fewer/smaller weapons.
Sounds almost like a domestic terrorist, honestly. And by that I mean: I know he doesn’t have some overarching political or religious goal, but taking threatening actions to make people afraid, with a general goal of “anarchy lolz”, sure feels a lot like it. (Of course, this is why laws are not based on my feelings.)
