Me too!
What I imagine they're thinking—
Who cares if it is? It's your memories, and that stuff matters. My dad used to do audio recordings of me, from the time I was born until I was a toddler, and now that my mom's gone, hearing those recordings is such a gift.
MTE. There's assholes everywhere, and we have our fair share in the great white north... :(
That is indeed apropos! :)
I can't view Youtube links at work, but if that's "What's the use of getting sober?", then I think you are all kinds of awesome ^_^
Thanks ^_^ It was the punchline to a rather snarky poem I wrote around that time :P
Mostly. I think where the real problem lies is that it's hard to weight things accurately. You can answer certain questions with a yes/no and that gives an idea of your feelings, but unless you write in your profile that a mismatch on that is a total dealbreaker, it's not going to come across clearly enough as a…
Agreed—the matching is craptastic. Their search once recommended a particularly bad ex to me as being an 88% match. A lot can go wrong in twelve percent.

Most of what I know about the history of dreads in terms of being an expression of faith is mentioned in that wiki article you linked. The cultural part is related to white beauty standards. Black girls and women have felt compelled…
Sorry about that, eh?
I think it's that most white kids who dread up are in a rebellious phase and don't have a real understanding of the cultural context or the history of dreads. There's a lot more tied into a POC's decision to wear their hair in dreads.
Used car salesman.
Ooh, I do hope he's got some heirloom carrot seeds...!
