Technically the turf war game is an homage to the great turf war. They’re basically just playing war based on a real Race War™. The Octo expansion dlc also pretty much settles the war and octolings are now free to live on the surface.

Yeah, and in the Salmon Run mode, they were literally stealing the roe of the Salmonids to sell to a giant faceless energy conglomerate. At least it seems some of them feel bad about it now....
She kinda needs an actual arc to even be worthy of a redemption arc.
Are you a Twitch PR employee? Because you sound like it.
I feel so cynical and nihilistic watching the wealthy class clutch their pearls at another class creating market volatility. I graduated in 2011, in the middle of a “once in a lifetime” global recession that caused my industry to shrink by 30-40%, caused by the wealthy class pulling the levers of the world economy…
I feel like this has been an issue for a LOT of games - Ubisoft games specifically, but also gaming in general, everything from Horizon Zero Dawn to latter-day BioWare - and I generally pin the blame on Skyrim, if inadvertently. Lot a lot of things in gaming, it felt like other developers looked at Skyrim, said ‘oh,…
I’ve got 50 bones burning a hole in my pocket and I’ve been eyeing this one for awhile. This makes me want to pick it up.
I didn’t think I hated the twins in my first playthrough, but as I finished each DLC (which I enjoyed! Every one from the Season 1 Pass!) and got back into the main game, I was just, “Ugh, these puds.”
I don’t know - it feels like one of the major problems we have (beyond Tech companies only doing the right thing when it’s safe or financially advantageous, even not enforcing their own policies to do so) is that there is a huge epidemic of bad-faith argumentation on the Right that we don’t treat as bad faith.
It’s…
You can’t just endlessly want “more”
You can have normal human eyes. Really looking forward to the mod that let's you have sharingan eyes
I’m more of a fan of Otta Sluggerson, myself. Pretty hilarious thrown-in mini-quest.
Looking forward to this a lot. Having played COD Warzone most of the year as a pure grudge as its one of the few fully crossplay shooters, I was so happy when crossplay finally came to Apex. This game is so much fun. Looking forward to the Steam release only because it will make it easier to get the game running on my…
I’m on the fence about the Caustic changes. No blurred vision sucks, but more damage is a plus. Loba Black Market change is great too. So many times I’ve had to pick between Ammo and a better Secondary weapon.
I’m more appreciative so far of the Monsters looking like their game counterpart and them showing elemental weapons. If the movie can still get across the spirit of monster hunter, I can overlook little things like wrong elemental weaknesses.
Why are you surprised? Isn’t finding bugs exactly what betta testing is for?
There is a credits roll after a certain number of clears. There’s also an epilogue roll much, much, much later, but the distance from first clear to credits shouldn’t be terribly long if you’ve reached a comfortable level of competence, and it’s also the most compelling section of the game story-wise. You will not…
But not many characters better at using a pick.
The default aim assist is very high. I’m playing on PC so I turned it down and it’s not overly hard. Hit boxes are pretty large as well.
