Very limited aiming in this game, every character has a left trigger aim/right trigger shoot move, but by default the aim assist is very high and most of the time you will be brawling with melee attacks. You’ll basically just use it occasionally to take out a few high flying targets before going back to

HONEYY look at these veryy cute designs we made in Animal Crossing!”

I need to constantly remind myself that this is an Amazon game, because everything about it feels like an MMO someone ordered from Wish.com ...

I actually didn’t have too high hopes for this one. I’d previously tried to watch some of the online-only mini-events, and they were really rough. Constant tech issues, lag between commentators making them talk over each other, a general lethargic vibe.

I’m pretty sure you’ll fight him during the tutorial, get whupped and survive through pure luck, then spend the rest of the game trying to lift his mind control by taking out key Braniac targets.

I rarely comment. But you’re the shit Ash. I’ve enjoyed reading your work. And this a bum out to read. Just wanted to throw some positivity your way in shit times, from a long time reader of this site, recent reader of your work, and consumer of most nerd related things.

Hey Game Companies. When EA is making the most meaningful human-oriented contributions in the industry, that’s a BAD SIGN for the rest of you.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but give EA some credit.  Their approach actually has some teeth.

Gonna get shit, but the difference is battleborn was actually a well made, charming, fun game. Crucible is design by committee no idea what it wants to be unfun mess. It's generic and bland and it plays like they couldn't decide whether to make a moba or yet another battle royale

You get the maul button but the trade is having to learn his flip ability for which I don’t believe there is a dedicated button. And if you do not figure this out, you cannot beat the game as it’s the only way to kill Scar

as far as i can tell their mentality is as far as apex goes is you must quit so you can immediately get back into the next game where you hotdrop and die instantly.

And that’s not even the “spooky” part...

No? I love this shit. Bless this mess.
